Sweet Street was founded in 1993 by the Shimkus Family.  What started as a tiny little candy store in a local strip mall evolved into a 4,000 square foot custom designed building in 2007.  Joe, Chris and Mike decided to retire in 2021 and that is when the Richardson and Gindy families became part of the story.  Sweet Street has been an important part of Bourbonnais for the past 29 years and Sharon and Julie felt that this iconic business had to continue.  You will find them along with their talented team continuing to serve up the delightful treats this community has come to expect.  From the finest quality of chocolates and truffles, to specialty popcorn, nostalgic candy, hand dipped chocolate strawberries and caramel apples, along with specialty gift baskets created just for you.  Sweet Street can make any occasion sweet.  We are known for only serving the best quality products in the area.  Please check out our many offerings and let us know what we can specially design for you!  Sweet on this community since 1993!
